Remote Capture is a bank hosted system that provides a way for IU departments to immediately and securely deposit checks into an IU bank account the same day their department receives the checks. Using remote capture to deposit checks eliminates the need to transport checks across campus or to a bank, this transmission becomes the actual deposit. Per IU policy FIN-TRE-VI-120 all checks received at IU intended for deposit to an IU bank account must be deposited by remote capture.
